Trademark `Tetrodin` allowed in Canada and in the United States

International Wex Technologies Inc. (the "Company") is pleased to announce that it has received Notices of Allowance for the trademark "Tetrodin"T from the Canadian Intellectual Property Office (CIPO) and the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).

Registration of trademarks is a necessary step the Company is taking during commercialization of the TTX platform-based products and will enhance the Company's market position in addition to patent protection. The Company will continue to build its intellectual properties, including patents and registered trademarks, and obtain protection worldwide.

In the area of neuro-bioscience, the Company is focusing on the fields of pain management, drug addiction treatment and anaesthesia. The Company is developing products that contain a sodium channel blocking compound and derivatives extracted from natural organic substances using its proprietary manufacturing technology.
