New Appointment Made To Investor Relations Department

International Wex Technologies Inc. (the `Company`) has had the privilege of having Mr. Howard Milne as its V.P. of Corporate Communications. For 6 years he was the communications liaison with all our shareholders and saw to the free and constant flow of information. With his more than 30 years of experience he felt the market and understood communications. His hard work and commitment to the Company has been greatly appreciated. His resignation letter stated, `After much deliberation I have decided to focus on personal and family considerations. I wish the employees and shareholders of IWT continued success and prosperity.` We wish Howard the same plus the best of health. We will sorely miss him.

The Company is pleased to announce it has made 2 appointments to the Investor Relations Department:

Mr. Gordon Stanley, an employee of the Company since 1998, has accepted a position in the Investor Relations Department and will assume responsibility for direct communication with all our shareholders and continue to see to the free and constant flow of corporate information.
Mr. Don Evans, a part-time consultant to the Company, will join the Investor Relations Department as communication liaison to the brokerage and institutional industry. Don has over 5 years experience in the Investment Community.

The Company will continue to ensure the quality communication flow with all our loyal and supported stakeholders.

In the area of neuro-bioscience, the Company is focusing on the fields of pain management, drug addiction treatment and anaesthesia. The Company is developing products that contain a sodium channel blocking compound and derivatives extracted from natural organic substances using its proprietary manufacturing technology.
