Second Dose Level of Phase IIa Clinical Trial completed in Canada

International Wex Technologies Inc. (the `Company`) is pleased to announce that the 2nd level of the medium-low dose of Tectin™ administration to cancer patients with moderate to severe pain in Phase IIa clinical trial, was completed last week and the 3rd dose level, a medium-high, has commenced.

The Phase IIa Tectin™ study is a dose ranging trial. The objective is to determine the optimal efficacious dose on uncontrolled cancer pain patients. Escalation of each dose level requires independent safety committee's approval.

In the area of neuro-bioscience, the Company is focusing on the fields of pain management, drug addiction treatment and anaesthesia. The Company is developing products that contain a sodium channel blocking compound and derivatives extracted from natural organic substances using its proprietary manufacturing technology.
