Wex exhibiting at world's largest Bio/Conference

International Wex Technologies Inc. (the "Company") is pleased to announce that four of its people will be attending our booth #1702 at Bio2002. The Company will be at the Toronto Convention Centre from Monday, June 10 until Wednesday, June 12. We will exhibit as part of the Canadian/BC Pavilion.

During the 2001 convention in San Diego, the Company was exposed to many of the larger pharmaceutical and biotech companies who potentially could be interested in a liaison with the Company. This year it is felt we will have the opportunity to further the initial discussions and look forward to adding numerous more potentials.

This convention is for the trade only and in 2001 there were over 14,000 registrants with 5,000 being from overseas representing 44 different countries. They had over 800 exhibit booths and many, many partnering meetings and partnering opportunities. It is felt this convention will be as large or larger and the Company will add to its important contact list, expanding its possibilities.

In the area of neuro-bioscience, the Company is focusing on the fields of pain management, drug addiction treatment and anaesthesia. The Company is developing products that contain a sodium channel blocking compound and derivatives extracted from natural organic substance using its proprietary manufacturing technology.
