Clinical Investigators to meet in Beijing

International Wex technologies Inc. (the "Company") is pleased to announce that the final preparation to commence clinical trials in China will take place shortly. Dr. Susan Lu will leave from Vancouver head-office in mid-May for Beijing to participate in the expert and investigator meeting for the input in the draft protocol and the clinical development plan in China. All other pre-permissions including SDA approval, site selection and investigators are in place. We anticipate that once final protocol has been agreed upon, clinical trials could commence in a relatively short time.

In the area of neuro-bioscience, the Company is focusing on the fields of pain management, drug addiction treatment and anaesthesia. The Company is developing products that contain a sodium channel blocking compound and derivatives extracted from natural organic substance using its proprietary manufacturing technology.
