International Wex Technologies Inc., (the "Company") is pleased to announce that one of the largest Canadian independent laboratories, licensed and recognized in Japan, the E.C., the U.S.A. and other major jurisdictions of the world has confirmed our Chinese finding on the Analytical Drug Metabolism and the In-Vitro Metabolism.

This is another key validation for the Company. It signifies that the leading technology used by a top laboratory with the most up to date equipment offered in the West concur with our results in China. In China we retained five of the top independent laboratories, and equipment available to obtain our results and the similarity between the two areas are most gratifying to the Company. The Company continues to present the Chinese test results with confidence as it files for HPB (Health Protection Board - Canada), clinical testing application in October and FDA (U.S.) during 2001.

Tetrodin has been developed by the Company primarily as a treatment for the symptoms associated with withdrawal from all opiate addictions such as morphine, opium, heroin and methadone. It is a non-narcotic pharmaceutical that has proven to be safe and effective and functions well in both primary withdrawal treatment and abstinence maintenance (longer term use) of drug addiction. The Company has also begun tests on the usage of Tetrodin as a potent analgesic.
