International Wex Technologies Inc. (the "company") is pleased to announce that with regards to the News Release of May 1, 2000, the "Advanced Analytical Equipment" including:

Waters HPLC 600E system, made in USA, including computer workstation, main and parts, totaling 29 items.
Hewlett-Packard HPLC 1100 system, made in USA, including
computer workstation, main system and parts, totaling 19 items.
Hewlett-Packard 8453E Spectroscopy system, including 8453
UV-Vis Spectrophotometer and workstation, main system and
parts, totaling 4 items.

has now become fully operational and specific training has been completed. Indications to date are proving that the original improvements in efficiency and cost savings are greater than anticipated.

The timely installation of this equipment allows the first small Tetrodin trial drug substance shipment to take place. The purpose of this shipment is for product validation at labs in North America.

With regards to our news release of April 27, 2000, the new production process is being utilized for this initial test sample of Tetrodin.

Tetrodin(HT) has been developed by the company primarily as a treatment for the symptoms associated with withdrawal from all opiate addictions such as morphine, opium, heroin and methadone. It is a non-narcotic pharmaceutical that has proven to be safe and effective and functions well in both primary withdrawal treatment and abstinence maintenance (longer term use) of drug addiction. The company has also begun tests on the usage of Tetrodin(HT) as a potent analgesic.
