Advanced Analytical Equipment Acquired

International Wex Technologies Inc. (the "company") is pleased to announce that its manufacturing subsidiary MLP is waiting for the arrival of approximately 17 crates of state-of-the-art equipment and instrumentation from the United States. The following equipment has been purchased to improve MLP's capacity to identify, analyze and purify Tetrodin(HT) and other pharmaceuticals.

1. Waters HPLC 600E system, made in USA, including computer workstation, main and parts, totally 29 items.
2. Hewlett-Packard HPLC 1100 system, made in USA, including computer workstation, main system and parts, totally 19 items.
3. Hewlett-Packard 8453E Spectroscopy system, including 8453
   UV-Vis Spectrophotometer and workstation, main system and
   parts, totally 4 items.

Key personnel have been chosen to receive specific training in the operation and establishing of procedures for testing and analyzing. Training will be provided on site by U.S. technicians.

To date, at great inconvenience and high cost to the company, all tests of this type have required out-sourcing. Adding to this problem was the limited availability in China of this advanced equipment. This caused great time delays for samples to travel to the location and for time availability on equipment owned by other facilities.

Through the generous acceptance of our application, the Government of China has waived all import taxes and tariffs. This allows MLP to be one of the very first private facilities in the area to be thus equipped and to provide other firms access to this form of advanced analytical equipment and techniques.

Tetrodin(HT) has been developed by the company primarily as a treatment for the symptoms associated with withdrawal from all opiate addictions such as morphine, opium, heroin and methadone. It is a non-narcotic pharmaceutical that has proven to be safe and effective and functions well in both primary withdrawal treatment and abstinence maintenance (longer term use) of drug addiction. The company has also begun tests on the usage of Tetrodin(HT) as a potent analgesic.
