M.D./ Pharmacologist joins International Wex Technologies Inc.

International Wex Technologies Inc. ("IWT") is pleased to announce that Dr. Sunan Lu (Susan) has joined our Vancouver Head Office. Dr. Lu's prime duties are as advisor on pharmacology and will co-ordinate the translation from Chinese to English on the extensive research papers for Tetrodin (HT). These papers are in the process of being placed before the committee in China for approval on pre-clinical test data of Tetrodin(HT). Dr. Lu will also act as our in-house support and public presenter of the Tetrodin (HT) opiate withdrawal treatment in accordance with IWT's international marketing plan.

The following is a brief synopsis of Dr. Lu's extensive C.V.;

Education:

• Aug./85 - July/88: Academy of Military Medical Sciences, Beijing, M.Sc. - Neuro-Pharmacology.
• Jan./84 - Dec./85: Louyang Foreign Language College, extensive English courses.
• Aug./76 - Sept/79: The First Military Medical University, GuangZhou, M.D., majoring in clinical western medicine.

Professional Experience:

• May/94 - June/99: Associate professor of Pharmacology, Chief of neuropharmacology department in National Institute on Drug Dependence, Beijing Medical University. Research areas: behavioral neuropharmacology related to drug dependence. In charge of approval for analgesics and for traditional Chinese medicine particularly as it relates to the treatment of addicts. Establish the protocol to test addiction in clinical studies.
• Feb./91 – May/94: Chief of development department in Hainan, Zhongbao – a joint venture Pharmaceutical Inc.
• Oct./80 – Oct./90: Assistant professor – laboratory of pharmacology and toxicology, Beijing Institute of Pharmacochemistry. Research areas: Pharmacology and toxicology of opiods and opiate receptors. Pharmacology and toxicology of narcotic analgesics
• Sep./79 – Sept./80: Resident doctor, No. 175 PLA Hospital.

Dr. Lu has been published in 15 scientific journals on opiates, drug abuse treatment and heroin withdrawal. She has extensive experience in clinical studies on opiate (heroin) withdrawal applications. Dr. Lu will greatly enhance our ability to reach our market.

IWT has developed a patented new product named Tetrodin(HT). Tetrodin(HT) is a non-narcotic pharmaceutical that has proven to be a safe and effective treatment for all opiate (heroin, opium, morphine, methadone, etc.) addictions. Tetrodin(HT) functions very well in both primary withdrawal treatment and abstinence maintenance (longer term use) of drug addiction.
