News Release
International Wex Technologies Inc. is proceeding with a Human Clinical Test of Tetrodin(HT)
Date: 1998/12/07
Human clinical testing of drug de-addiction using Tetrodin(HT)
on 70 plus drug addicts will be
taking place in the next two months. This clinical test will take
place at the Nanning Addiction
Treatment Hospital during December 1998 and January 1999. A number
of doctors from several
foreign countries have been invited to attend in order to gain
first hand experience with the
use of Tetrodin(HT). The list of the foreign doctors and visitors
attending this test will be
issued by IWT in early January 1999 when all are confirmed. These
tests will be conducted using
Good Clinical Practices (GCP) protocols and follow-up methods modeled
after those used by China,
Europe and North America for new drug approval organizations and
the findings will be reported
to international medical journals.
International Wex Technologies Inc. is developing the patented new product
named Tetrodin(HT).
Tetrodin(HT) is a non-narcotic pharmaceutical that has proven to
be a safe and effective treatment
for all opiate (heroin, opium, morphine,
methadone, etc.) addictions. Tetrodin(HT) functions very
well in both primary withdrawal treatment and abstinence maintenance
(longer term use) of drug
addiction.
