News Release
United States of America Patent Issued for Tetrodin(HT)
Date: 1998/07/29
We have today received notification of our first patent issuance
since filing and receiving
approval of the European Patent Application in February 1997. The
significance of this USA
Patent is that the United States in 1989, along with the vast
majority of the developed
countries in the world, signed the International Reciprocity Treaty
on Patents and Intellectual
Properties. This treaty documents that the signing participants
will respect the ownership
and right afforded the owner of any
USA or participating countries, current and/or new patent.
Any country under this treaty that does not protect and defend
a patent holder would be subject
to a number of penalties, some of which could be the loss of membership
and/or access to the
International Monetary Fund and the World Bank.
Notwithstanding that issue, we believe this USA patent issuance will
further cause to bring Tetrodin (HT) to the attention of the market,
the government, and the medical community of the USA.
Tetrodin (HT) is a non-addictive, non-narcotic, strong and long lasting
analgesic, that has been
demonstrated to be a safe and cost effective cure for opiate(s)
(opium, heroin, morphine,
methadone, etc.) drug addictions. It has demonstrated in
testing unparalleled success when used
as either a "primary drug withdrawal" treatment product or as
a longer-term drug addiction
treatment product, having no serious side effects nor will it cause
any further addiction.
For additional information on Tetrodin (HT), view the IWT website
